Overview

Resolute Engineering Group recently completed a custom-designed Solar PV installation for Naomh Mearnóg GAA Club, one of the most active and community-focused sports facilities in the region. With high electricity demands due to frequent matchdays, training sessions, and club events, the club was seeking a more sustainable and cost-effective energy solution.

Inverter: 20kW Sungrow Inverter
Mounting System: Aerocompact Flat Roof Solution – engineered specifically for flat roof installations, ensuring aerodynamic stability and ease of maintenance.

Design & Execution

The project involved the installation of 46 solar panels on the roof of the clubhouse, designed to harness the full potential of the sun while preserving the aesthetic of the facility. The Aerocompact Flat Roof mounting system was selected for its durability, speed of installation, and minimal impact on roof structure. To manage the energy output, we installed a 20kW Sungrow Inverter, known for its high performance, smart monitoring features, and reliability – perfectly suited to handle the energy needs of a busy sports club.
